 "Almost  all technicians today think of OBD2 as always being the same since 1996  until the release of CAN in which most think it just got more computers  added in. The majority do not understand why it is there or what the  overall goal and strategies of it are. The Service Readiness class answers these questions. It takes a large sum  of OBD2 and basically puts it in a timeline. It starts with the  legislation, moves to the strategies that were used to be in compliance  with the legislation, then shows the implementation.
